Siddhalepa Ayurveda Resort ★★★★

Ayurveda treatments top Restaurant can be better service for to followers ayurveda treatments with diet. Excelent cook.

Hotel manager terrible, only look for money not asertiv not kind not good comunication, thanks to the assisten manager who do all his best to look properly after the clients.

The medicinal trees and herbs in the garden. Unique to the beach front. In that sense it was beautiful. The spa and Ayurvedic treatment was excellent. Staff at the Resturant were friendly

There is no proper bar, no meets and liquor served. Bar was below standard. The setting of the Resturant was not very pleasant and basic. The staff especially at the bar (it was a standing in attendant) and the restaurant didn't look professional.

I liked the treatments only !

The resort is not clean, the resort workers is unhelpful and the management was very in professional. I will charge back the full amount because of the bad service I got there. No value for mine and everything is not included as they mentioned !

Not value for money at all. Next day I stayed at a 5 star hotel which was still cheaper than this and 100 times better than this place in every way. Customer service is terrible at Siddhalepa. Really no customer service so dont bother. Staff are also very inflexible and incapable. Spa was not clean and very warm so you can't really enjoy the massages as you will be sweating a lot. Toilet wasn't clean. Soap water was getting collected in the shower which was yucky! Overall the hotel looks really run down and in need of a refurbishment. Meals were extremely average and again not value for money. I love cats but I didn't like the fact that there were so many cats inside the restaurant running around wanting food. It doesn't tell much about hygiene. I will never visit again and clearly not recommending to anyone.

All staff are friendly and will do whatever it takes to assist you. Spa is amazing and professional. Nice beach, pool and rooms are excellent. Buffet is very good. Ayurveda pharmacy is very nice with reasonable prices. Room facilities are excellent.

Wifi is limited to lobby and with charge, AC sometimes makes smell, gym is also for a charge

I have to say that I was a single travelling girl and just turned 26. The stuff was super amazing and as friendly as one can be, also the food was amazing. But travelling through Sri Lanka I have to say that the prizes are - even for a super luxus resort - completely ridiculous. I doubt that the stuff is seeing any of the money I left there, but that it all goes back to the big Investor of this resort. I couldn't really connect my experience there with the traditional culture of Sri Lanka I experienced elsewhere. I would recommend this resort to people who put emphasis on full service and more the resort lifestyle than the traditional ayurveda culture. Money plays a too important role there.

The Ayurvedic treatments are excellent , the staff make you feel so comfortable and relaxed . Its a very safe and calm environment which is ideal for allowing yourself to open up to the treatments available .

The whole complex was beautiful and well-maintained. After a very long drive from the airport (we didn't have a map and got lost!) it was such fantastic place to arrive at. Two nights of peace, tranquility and luxury.

The only negative was the extremely poor road to get to the hotel from the main road.

This was my first ayurvedic experience and the first time I have ever booked a full board stay. I was afraid it would become a little mono after a few days, but I was wrong. The whole concept of ayurveda is too calm down, and you naturally fall into this state of stillness and realxed state of mind. The resort is very weel kept, neat but with no-frills. The service is genuinely remarkable. The rooms are all very spacious and very nice, I would go for the Deluxe rooms near the beach, just beautiful. The treatments are taken incredibly seriously and are very good and “authentic”. I would recommend to beginners to read about ayurveda before arrival, just so you have a clear idea of what you will experience. They give for granted that you arrive prepared. The place is the most beautiful, neat, lush beauty for the eyes. The pool is gorgeous and very weel kept and it is where you have yoga mornings and afternoons. The private beach area is under nice palm trees that gently move with the seabreeze and bring a sens of incredible peace. The long beach of Wadduwa is a beautiful yellow sanded beach barely known to tourism which allows long solitary walks with the company of a few local fishermen. Water is shallow enough to swim safely despite the waves, and a swim at sunset is simply amazing. Then the food, i have a traveled a lot in India and Sri Lanka and this was by far one of the best places I have eaten at. There is mostly sri lankan ayurveduc recipies, but you always have a variety of options should you wish to avoid spices. My overall experience was outstanding and life changing. I will look forward to my return to Siddhalepa but for two or three weeks next time.

Friendly staff, thank you for early check in! Thanks to Engineering for an assistance with TV and adapter ( I send it back with the driver, hope you received that ️) amazing nature and healthy food. Took excursion from Lala and his brother on the beach, very good people )

Rooms are really beautiful but cleanliness is a problem - when I arrived bathroom was with yellow stains, toilet very durty, so I cleaned all by myself, all furniture with the stains and dust. Baldacchino was dusty with many died mosquitoes. Ayurveda is good but shirodhara treatment need to be improved, cuz there are very noisy, so Not possible to relax and they are using sponge for oil from your head to double use that .... the rest procedures was fine.
